Jesse Andrews is an 18 year old drummer who currently is studying music in college. He's a softy at heart, and hopes he portrays that in the music and with the lyrics he writes. Everything has to have meaning, a purpose. Its why he tries to write emotional music, or something a bit more hard-hitting with a personal experience behind it. Song-writing has become more than just a hobby, but a way forward in life. Both career-wise, and emotionally.
Background:
Jesse is currently in college studying Music Performance, but hopes to move to a production based course. He's has only picked up on music and an instrument since the end of 2019, meaning he has only had just over 4 years of education of the subject! He's only self-taught, and has a lot to learn, but his passion will no doubt help him forward on the journey ahead of him. He hopes to find a band in the future to be a drummer for, and to help with song-writing in a group overall, but has settled in to being a singer-songwriter until he can hopefully find his way forward in the music industry.

The main genre of music Jesse writes is alternative/indie. This includes mostly rock and pop based songs, but the possibilities are endless! Meaningful lyrics and emotion layered over the top of hard-hitting or catchy tunes, leaving you sure to want more. What follows is genuinely emotional songs, written from the heart and personal experience, to help people who need something to cry or relate to. The sounds he tries to create are all from the big imagination of his, but from his idol in music, Nathan Wagner. His heart wrenching sounds, from the composition to his incredible singing voice, is the direction Jesse hopes to follow as he becomes more experienced in song-writing. The more you listen to both artists, the more you can see and hear the influence that Nathan has on Jesse, and his love for emotional, alternative music, which can be adapted through multiple different genres.
Jesse has currently played at multiple gig venues, mostly drumming in a band, but has had a few times to shine in playing his own musical compositions by singing solo acts. He has performed at larger venues such as the Junction in Cambridge, and plans in the future when he releases his first EP in upcoming months, to get out into the world and perform and make a stand with his talent for song-writing, and to show people he's worth the time to listen to.
